Maia - Vila do Conde

The seventh stage in Porto and Northern Portugal. This stage covers the lands of Maia and leads to Macieira da Maia, in Vila do Conde. Crossing through Moreira, it takes you through the characteristic agricultural fields of this region. The stage begins near an 18th-century point of interest, the Monastery of the Divine Savior of Moreira, and ends near a piece of urban art, a contemporary sculpture of Saint James the Greater by Carlos Rodrigues, very close to the Vairão Monastery. These two realities showcase the diversity of offerings in Porto and Northern Portugal. A route covering 11,926 meters, with low difficulty and an elevation gain of only 89 meters.
